Once remarkable only for just how small it was, Melleal has made quite the change for itself. A century ago, trees with trunks larger then Orphan Vessels have broken through it’s surface. Today, that very surface exists only in the eyes of the moons oldest inhabitants, whose tales of the moons early days of outward expansion offer too many contradictions to be easily believed.

This is an excellent moon. I can see a lot of story hooks to grab onto here, and I'm really into a setting where the status quo has been upended by a big weird unexplained phenomenon recently enough that it's still weird and unknown but long enough ago that it's settled into a new status quo. Plus I really like how little the hollowbirds are explicitly described.
This is fun; love a forest moon, and the idea of a Moon that's opened up and is being re-explored is a great pitch.
